Islamic Date Today in the USA
The USA spans multiple timezones and has no single national religious moon-sighting calendar. Communities follow different sighting or calculation policies. These are calculated equivalents, not a nationwide announcement.

Why can today's Hijri date differ?
Dates use the calculated Umm al-Qura calendar. Local moon sighting may differ by a day. Civil dates change at midnight; Islamic religious days begin at sunset.
A timezone selects the civil day used in a calculation; it does not select a country's moon-sighting decision. Use the date converter's day adjustment if your local calendar differs.
